Bad Landlords!
I watched this TV show about a family that moved into this apartment complex that was infested with Raccoons. When they first moved in they could hear noise in the attic at night, it sounded like someone was up there sweeping. They called the Landlord of the complex to come and investigate and got no response. After 3 phone calls the husband decided to take matters into his own hands and go up to the attic and see what was going on. He found tons of Raccoons living up there having babies. They found a whole in the roof where the animals were coming in. Someone finally came out and trapped the Raccoons and removed them from the attic but as fast as they would remove them they would return. The renters ceiling caved in and the wife ingested feces from the raccoons and got ill with a life threatening lung disease. I don't understand why the landlord of the complex didn't try to help sooner. I know that there needs to be a place for animals to live as well as humans as we are all apart of the ecosystem. But, this is a case of lack of responsibility on the human side of things that almost cost someone their life. It make me freak out and want to go organize my garage!

We have a rat problem here in Renton. I have seen three of them and can smell their urine during the summer, coming up through the crawlspace of my house! It is disgusting and I put peanut butter on rat traps and they were able to remove it w/o setting off the trap. So I put poison down in the space. I have not been down there since because I wanted a cold winter to go by before finding a carcass. I don't think I could handle removing a summer warmed dead animal. Have I been there this winter? Heck no! (I will ask my boyfriend nicely .....he will do it! For years I had to do all that junk myself since I am a single mom ....now, poor guy! He gets to do the icky stuff! LOL)
